Meet the Doctor
Christopher Nolan, M.D. is a diplomate of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He specializes in cosmetic surgery that includes all areas of plastic surgery including reconstructive surgery. Board certification in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was obtained 1987.
Dr. Nolan has experience and current knowledge in the latest plastic surgery innovations and advancements including liposuction and body contouring, breast surgery, nasal surgery and the treatment of aging changes of the face. Another area of expertise is reconstructive surgery after mastectomy.
He attained a Bachelor of Science from the School of Science and Engineering at Loyola University, Los Angeles. Dr. Nolan received his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine, in Boston Massachusetts.
Dr. Nolan served a General Surgery residency including a year as Chief Resident at UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. Formal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training was accomplished at the University of Florida, where he was also Chief Resident. Part of this training involved lab research in wound healing, graft physiology and laser interactions.
Dr. Nolan holds professional memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The California Plastic Surgery Society, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association and the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons.
As a respected member of the medical community, Dr. Nolan has served in various organizations and hospital committees. He has served on the Surgical Executive Committee at Mission Hospital for many years, as well as the Tissue and Transfusion Committee. He served as Chief of Surgery, Children's Hospital at Mission. He has served as Chief of Surgery, Mission Regional Medical Center. He has been Chief of Plastic Surgery Subsection of the Dept. of Surgery at Mission Regional Medical Center spanning many years.
Dr. Nolan was raised in Orange County and comes from a strong medical family background. He is active in community services and donates his time to charitable organizations, and has been involved in missionary medical missions.
Dr. Nolan is committed to excellence in his field and providing the highest level of care in his patients. He continues to be current with the most recent technological and academic advances.
Dr. Nolan has been in solo private practice in Orange County since 1984 and continues to serve the reconstructive needs of patients in the community and to focus on cosmetic services and surgery within a completely integrated setting.
